Avoid CIBC at all costs. I don’t even bank with CIBC — the only reason I have any connection to them is because the Costco credit card is now under CIBC. And even with that limited interaction, I can confidently say their service is absolutely horrible, top to bottom. They begged me to upgrade my credit card, and I agreed.
