I would hive this banking branch zero stars however there was no option for that, extremely poor service from the manager, in an emergency situation. No customer service skills, ATM also was not working. Will be calling CIBC head office to discuss this situation about the type if employees they have working at this branch.
Atm not working!
When did banks stop accepting cash for bill payments? What exactly is the bank for? The bank machine wasn't working and won't be for a while, and they wouldn't accept my cash to pay against my credit card. I asked if cash was still legal tender in Canada and they agreed it was but still wouldn't take it. Absolutely insane that a bank, a frickin' bank, won't accept cash.
Always has funds
I can confirm that the ATM is functioning and let me withdraw Canadian dollars from my US based account (different bank). As far as the bank and its staff are concerned, can’t comment on that.
