I will never do business with this bank again, they never call you back when you leave a message that you need to talk to them. Arnita, the branch manager is the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with, she is rude and talks down to you. I would give this Bank no stars if it was possible, after two days of trying to get a hold of anybody in that bank on the phone, I finally had enough and walked in and closed all accounts immediately, good riddance to this Bank

Bad communication between CIBC branch and Toronto. Terrible service for probate not branches fault but there should be a way to put more pressure on Toronto. 90% of the file was taken care of and the 10% left has been sitting there for 3 months maybe even four. CIBC in general has bad customer service. It got worse than dealing with them for over 40 years from Quebec Alberta and BC.

I would give this branch 0 stars if it was possible. They can’t ever get anything right the first time.. whether it be opening an account, or paying a GST bill… we have had multiple poor experiences that required us to end up calling CIBC directly. We have booked appts or waited in line just to end up needing to call customer service and be on hold for hours and hours. 30 + years with this bank and we are ready to leave. Avoid them.
