Painful experience trying to do a simple pickup.
I am disappointed with the service I received. I was contacted by CIBC regarding opening an account. I was not comfortable discussing this over the phone, and upon visiting the branch, the receptionist informed me that they were unable to assist me today, stating that no action could be taken. It appears that while the bank can initiate contact at their convenience, they are unwilling to accommodate clients without a prior appointment.
Worst banking experiences ever! No one at this branch knows anything. All you are getting is runaround. The incompetence of the employees is horrendous. Due to my negative experiences I wanted to talk to the branch manager - Adam Wurban today (May 5, 2026). I found his direct telephone number but all I’ve got was his voicemail, which says: “ I am on vacations until April 6th……..” I wonder from which year is the message.
