Worst branch to deal with and cibc as a whole is just awful.
This CIBC location will not allow you to deposit cash in the bank center. (rolled change) My 9 year old son was told he would have to go to a location that was 14 km away, to deposit his allowance into his bank account. Google maps tells him it’s only a 2 hour and 28 minute walk for him one way, or 38 minutes if he takes his bike… What a joke. Can you even call it a bank if you can’t deposit all Canadian currency? What service do you provide if you aren’t providing basic banking services to your clients.
This branch USED to be good, I have been a client for over 10 years. The manager knew me by name and was happy to help me anytime I needed. Since they have changed over all of their staff they now cant answer their phones even after I have called 3 different times, hours apart, on a TUESDAY. What a joke! I will now be changing branches if not banks completely.
Scheduled a phone appointment. They never phoned me. I tried reaching out twice, leaving messages to call me back. Still nothing.
