I work near this branch, so I visit it quite often. Unfortunately, almost every time I come in, no matter what service I need—whether it’s making a deposit or paying my university tuition—I get the same response: “We can’t do that here. Please go to another branch.” The last time I visited, they again told me to go to a different branch. If I could give this branch zero stars, I would. I came in for a simple issue, but apparently they could not cater to me because everybody was busy and there was nobody at the front desk. I wasted my time and money on an Uber ride, and there was absolutely no empathy or even a simple apology. CIBC should seriously look into this branch and retrain its staff on basic customer service, including acknowledging clients and apologizing, even when the situation is beyond their control. Zero empathy!

Terrible customer service at this branch, especially the branch manager Helen. I can see why the reviews here are so low as it starts from the top down. She is strongly making me consider switching to another banking service.
