CIBC Costco card—total nightmare. You sign up thinking it's great? Big mistake. You try to cancel and suddenly it's mission impossible. No one knows what they’re doing. It’s chaos. Horrible card. Just horrible!
The Costco card issued by CIBC is a total failure. It cannot be canceled in person.
I recently needed a simple bank draft from CIBC, and what should have been a quick task turned into an hour-and-a-half ordeal. I had to drive to three different branches just to get it done—something completely unacceptable for a major financial institution. Dollarton Highway Branch – I was told they couldn’t print the bank draft because they don’t have a printer. I love that CIBC opens at 9:30 because of the fact that everywhere I’ve ever worked in my life I started at 9. Makes going to the small branches that can’t even do cash transactions even more fun.
