Remind me why this big sized bank is open to the public with no workers, receptionists and empty offices? They should only advise that it’s only open for atm machines because it’s very misleading to put that it’s an OPEN branch with hours. Never seen a bank in this type of setting…
I arrived at the bank at 4pm with no one at the counter, 3 staff saw me ( 1 had a client ) but none asked or said something. Waited for about 15mins but nada. It was my first time at this branch so I dont know how it works there but I guess since it says open until 5pm, someone could entertain or tell me at least that nobody would be able to assist me or something. Not good.
Review for CIBC Bank Extremely disappointed with CIBC. There is no receptionist, no employees available, and no one to assist you in person. I was almost able to speak to an advisor, but they were occupied with online meetings. To make matters worse, I’m not even a CIBC client anymore, yet I’m still being billed monthly for account statements and fees and balances are 0.00. Typing this review out as I wait in a deserted bank with no employees in sight and a big line up of customers waiting to be served. It's been 20 minutes and zero employees have come out from the back despite multiple customers going back there to ask for help. It's essentially a dozen customers hanging out in what appears to be an abandoned branch on a Thursday afternoon. Ridiculous service (or lack thereof)
