I’ve never had an issue until today. Lady I dealt with today was rude , talked to me like a child, was not sympathetic at all , $177 plus dollars in banking fees due to an employee not making sure I had the right account fees when I changed my account over. Customer service told me I could go in and they would handle this situation professionally. She was not professional!
If I could, I would leave a 0 or negative star review. The staff at this place are so rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. The representative I met, Rival Michael, was completely unqualified to do her job. She did not know how to change the GIC renewal period, a simple process which had taken only a few minutes in the past. She lied to me multiple times, and kept blaming others to avoid taking responsibility. Anita the manager is excellent and professional with dealing the costumer. I highly recommend MR.PATEL who assist me to open my account. He is knowledgeable, patient well-mannered, and articulate.
Probably one of the worst bank branches I’ve ever seen. Went in to open a business chequing account. This bank did nothing but give us the run around. They wanted credit checks. 6 months of bank statements and personal tax records. To do nothing more then to open a chequing account. We went to the BMO behind this bank and had a new account within 20 minutes of walking in. BMO didn’t ask us for any of the documents that CIBC wanted. Stay far away from this CIBC branch.
