The most inefficient setup for in person customer service I’ve ever seen. Open concept, 1 desk/kiosk for helping people. All I had to do was pick up a credit card and I waited for 25 minutes. One agent came out of their office to look at what was going on and he ran back into his office and didn’t help anyone. What has banking become? Don’t we pay enough fees and interest to deserve customer service? Thankfully I don’t bank here regularly.
Last week 15th April, I was contacted by a CIBC executive on my phone numberand presented with an offer to visit a branch and spend 1 hour of my time to discuss my investment portfolio. She said I would be rewarded with a $200 virtual gift card for my time. In addition she said that If I have a mortgage with another bank and carry that statement I would get an additional $50 in gift card. Worst customer service ever very unprofessional. Mrs poorva parna literally told me i dont have time to waste with you. Then when i asked her to call the manager she said no u can go outside and speak to them. Am still Not sure Is this a prank? Is this a bank for real.Closing my accounts with them too bad because i liked CIBC.
