ugh no one in the reception to assist. Waited for 30mins and nobody came , wasted my time. The branch was open.
the most useless and horrible bank in the history of Canada. absolutely unprofessional people who will only waste your time. there’s not even ONE branch of their bank across Canada where they can help you in person, you will always have to wait for them to reply to you via phone, and your wait time will be AT LEAST 60 minutes (usually it takes around 2 hours)
There was some issues with closing of my chequing account and creating a joint account with my spouse. Even though, there was some errors initially, the advisor did sorted it out and did the necessary changes.
the worst service imaginable. people working at CIBC offices cannot do anything at all and you always have to call their hot line and wait for hours to speak to an agent, because NOBODY is able to help you in person. I’m going to switch to a different bank as I don’t want to waste any more time with cibc
