It is a CIBC branch where you see more ATMs, than people, able to help. I had to go again to Westhills’ to have a straight forward case - resolved.
unquestionably the most incompetent people i have ever been forced to deal with. forever to set up an estate account, no living person to answer a phone and no response to emails. personal phone is actually a fax. wish i could rate this a zero star.
No one at CIBC knows what they’re doing. I need business bank statements and the in branch staff says they can only get this from back office, 2 weeks later nothing from “back office”, had to call 1888 number and the agent says the statements I’m looking for is printed at the branch. Agent sent an email on my behalf 3 days ago and STILL nothing from the branch. This is the very reason why we closed our account 2 years ago and moved it to TD.
2023 Review: Staff were friendly and tried their best to help. Lack of parking make this branch pretty difficult to access. 3 stars ************ 2025 Review update: Still a sad branch with only 1 front staff holding the fort. Took 5 mins with only 1 lady in front of me before I was helped. Teller staff knows what needs to be done but no expression and no smiles. Feels miserable to be there it seems. Hope she finds a happy job. Still better than TD bank across the street
Went to pick up some Foreign currency. The woman was on a personal call and made us wait. Then when I received my money, she didn’t count it. Is this new? Aren’t they supposed to count the cash in front of you or do we just not do basic logical behaviours anymore…?
