My experience with CIBC has been highly unsatisfactory. A routine update of banking documentation has remained outstanding for several months, during which the file was transferred across four separate advisors. While each representative acknowledged the delays and committed to a resolution, no tangible progress has been made. This lack of internal continuity and end-to-end file management represents a significant operational shortfall.

I didn’t have an appointment and needed a money order. I received assistance very quickly. Hazel Winnan, the person who helped me, was super helpful and kind. She was able to assist me right away and made the whole experience super easy.

I’ve had meetings with several advisors at various CIBC branches, but none have been as helpful and knowledgeable as Bindiya Patel! Can’t recommend her enough.

I opened an account in February (it is now October). I was promised $450 reward. The conditions were to have direct deposit set up and a few other hurdles. I followed the instructions and have been on the phone at least 4 times with them. Each time, they tell me that I qualify and will be sent this money by a certain date and it doesn't happen. Their promotions are a scam. The account that I signed up for is now changing the rate from $6.95 to $16.95.
