Worst customer service I’ve ever received in a bank. It was unbelievable! We wanted basic service, and were told everyone was in a meeting and the only one that talked to us said her computer was down. (Even though she was sitting at it typing while we were there). She told us to go to Park Royal or Lonsdale Branch. Since we walked, that wasn’t an option, so we said we were staying till someone could help us. Garbage service
(Update Below) CIBC is the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Their customer service is to the point that there is nothing at all. Their employees don’t even bother checking anything and I think if they ever have intention to even be a bank they should start with hiring people who care about their consumers which might be never. This is a sincere review and if anyone wanted to open their first bank, do not try with CIBC first. Try TD or Scotia whom you will have a much better experience. I had an excellent experience at the CIBC branch thanks to Frank. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of the banking benefits and services available to me—things I wasn't even aware of despite visiting other CIBC branches in the past. This was by far the best customer service I've received at any CIBC branch. ATM is open all night so very convenient as the branch right by my place isn't open until 7 or 8 am which is dumb.
