I would give this place zero stars if I could. My experience with Benchmark at Newtown has been extremely disappointing. Some of the aides are often rude and dismissive, speaking to residents in a way that feels impatient and disrespectful. No one deserves to be treated like they’re a burden, especially in a place that’s supposed to provide care and comfort. Some of the staff are attentive and go above and beyond, it's a mixed bag. We have spent close to 2 weeks at Church Hill Village in respite care. Church Hill is beautifully managed with kind ,attentive staff, fine food and well selected activities. We heartily recommend this facility

About a year ago it became apparent that my parents could no longer live independently in their own home. In researching options our priorities were to keep them together, and keep their two small dogs with them. Of all the facilities we visited Churchill was the most welcoming and accommodating of their needs. The dogs have been welcomed and are very much part of the community. My grandparents “new home” has been nothing short of amazing. They’ve been there for about 6 months now and I can’t express how grateful I am to the entire staff for keeping them entertained and cared for. It feels like family when I walk through the doors to visit. It’s the small things that my grandparents notice like all of the servers know their drink order, maintenance is quick to hang a picture for them etc. There is not one staff member that hasn’t been exceptional. I can’t say enough, how happy we were to have our mother live at Churchill Village. They took exceptional care of my mother in critical times.
