In early 2023 my parents moved into a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment at Church Creek. Recently I was able to attend an annual Veteran's Day ceremony and lunch Church Creek held for all the military veterans and "Rosies" living there. Army officers from the 85th Support Command facility across the street were also involved in not only the ceremony, but also sitting with each table of veterans at the luncheon. My mom has been in this place for years and we are satisfied with the service, but I just saw an incident in the dining room that left me outraged. Stephanie (one of the kitchen staff, I believe she’s the manager) verbally assaulted one of the caretakers ( a woman of color) demanding about a meal ticket after a salad that had been served to her while she was seated with her resident, I heard clearly when the woman asked Stephanie to please let her feed her resident first and then they can resolved the ticket issue, Stephanie... read more

My mom has been at Church Creek memory care since February. The nurses and CNAs are wonderful and treat my mom with so much love and respect. I can’t say enough about them. Unfortunately it appears that the resident to staff ratio has decreased recently. No kitchen staff available so the CNA and nurse on duty are serving meals while also trying to distribute meds and care for the residents.
