Well I took a chance on Mr. Moon and I had the same problems getting the parts chrome plated. He would give me a date, and when it came and went another date when it would be ready. And this went on and on. I finally said I was coming over the get the parts ready or not and when I showed up at 1:00 PM I was told a little later in the day and finally at 6:00 PM I got a call and got my parts. They looked great, a nice job, but the stress associated with whether I would ever get them on not was pretty high.
He forgot to give me four small screws, so I went through the whole litany again, promises and dates. I then sent another set of screws and an envelope with return postage. A few more calls and nothing. Finally, today (21 October 2017) I got a package in the mail, quite heavy for four screws and found the top slide to a Glock 43 9-mm pistol, beautifully done, but with no other information. Still don't have my screws and now I have part of someone else's automatic hand gun. I am sure the owner would be quite upset to lose this! I have called Bubba Moon, but no response yet. I wonder if the other guy has my screws. Nice paper weight, but need to get it back to the original owner.
I think Bubba Moon wants your business and tries to satisfy the customer but is unable and makes promises he hopes to keep, but seldom does. Doubt it is intentional, but he is an extremely poor businessman and is terribly unreliable. He is fairly close and I would like to patronize him, but I am scared to give him anything else to plate, so I am going elsewhere. So sad, for him and his potential customers.
