We booked online with depósit only. They gave us a great service making us believe we were getting a better deal than online. Then they overcharged us by over 800 usd for our rental, and I didn’t notice until a day later. I came back to ask and the person attending yelled at me, and got pissed with us, and then he gave us a refund with a long face and angry that we noticed. We paid what we had to pay at the end, but it was a very sour experience. And would not rent with a Christy’s again due to this situation.
Great experience this year. They were fast and efficient with my kids and my ski rentals. One of the guys working in the rental area upstairs (tall guy with a young daughter) was very friendly with the kids and he helped me fix boot pain I’ve been having for the last couple years. He sold me some inserts with arch support and added a heal riser under my liners and my feet felt the best they have in years while on the slopes. Great experience. Will be back next year for our gear.
If you are looking for anything related to skiing, this is THE place. They have a full selection of the highest quality products, and, most importantly, their staff is most knowledgeable, kindest, and most helpful in the Valley ... Don't rent here. I rented the snowboard Demo for my wife on the basis we could use 2 of the days as credit towards buying a board after if she liked it. All was going well until I did end up buying the board and they decided not to honor their commitment on the credits. Super shady. Rent with 4 mountain sports instead - save yourself the BS.
