This law firm took from our family something that can never be given back. We hired them to assist in the adoption of my step daughter .. I am the only father she has ever known .. Last year our daughter wrote an incredibly sweet & moving card to me on Christmas telling me that she wanted to be my daughter legally..to carry my name & be my daughter on paper as she was in life. He’s a thief & a liar. I reached out about a step parent adoption. I explain to him that we didn’t have a lot of $$ … so I needed to know exactly what I could expect to pay.. he told me his fee was $1500 starting & maybe a bit more depending.. and that there would be an additional $1500 or so with the amicus ect. I hired him.. paying the retainer as per usual. Then I received 4 different phone calls from the 4 other individuals i that would be involved in the case. Each one expected $1500.
