They charge interest on principal only loan payments - WHAT? I have had a home equity loan with Motor City Credit Union (now Christian Finacial) for 3 years. We have always made extra payments (principal payments) on all our loans including this one. Since CFCU took over they stopped letting us do it. They now charge interest on all extra payments. This is against the loan contract which allows for principal only payments. They have stolen money. Also, it has taken 30 minutes for them to answer the phone at times.
Went to the drive thru in Roseville and the teller gave my ID along with my withdrawl monies to the bay next to me. As I waited, the teller came back and said sign the slip and send back and I said, "What Slip". The teller proceeded to yell at the bay next to me, telling them to return the cylinder back to her. When I went in to speak to a "supervisor", they basically said I'm sorry and the teller is still there. In my books, she should've been fired.
They take way too long to answer the phone. Several times I've waited as long as 10 minutes on hold. This is not very considerate of their customers time.
