I have experienced chronic cervical and lumbar pain for the past thirty years. During that time I have had surgery and cortisone injections. At 89 I am no longer a candidate for surgery and cortisone is not effective. I no longer take medication because it provides no relief. My orthopedist suggested I consider acupuncture. After my first visit with Dr. Chong my severe menopausal symptoms were gone. I was having hot flashes all day and night, was unable to sleep, and was irritable all the time. In working with Dr Chong I have improved greatly. I have MS and over time I am tapering off using a cane. My feet and legs have gained some feeling back, my walking gait has improved and my physical fatigue has lessened. Certain daily tasks have become easier. I am able to walk further and with less exhaustion toward the end. My mental clarity has improved and my mood. He has lessened anxiety and I have a greater inner calmness which I am grateful for. Dr Chong is very intuitive and invested in helping his patients.
