Dan and Carol great to deal with.Told Dan I needed a manual disc brake kit for my 71 Torino a few weeks ago and got the kit in 2 days. He answered all my questions. Kit is complete and easy enough for a 12 yr. old to install. Which was done by my 12 yr. old grandson. He is starting to have a big interest in cars (classics). . Thanks Dan and Carol for your help will be ordering a kit for the 69 Mach 1 soon. Thanks again P.S this was the 1st time I dealt with them but won’t be the last.
This review is a year overdue. I purchased a disc brake conversion for my 66 Mustang fastback. The kit I purchased from Chockostang included everything I needed to convert my drum setup to disc brakes. I appreciate the attention to detail and the quick shipment from the day I placed the order.
I called these guys when I was thinking about a front disc conversion after seeing their name pop up on a few website forums. Could not be happier with the brake system and costs less than similar competitors. Spent a lot of time talking on the phone with him and he shared some great advice on other projects I am thinking about as well. Always for supporting small businesses and even more so when they are great people. Would definitely recommend them.
First time personal-mechanic, learning to work with cars on my 68’ mustang. Ordered a front disc brake conversion kit and it comes with everything you need and more. Amazing how simple they make it and Dan & Carrol sound like great people over the phone. anybody looking for assistance or mustang mods should turn to chockostang. Only complaint is that the brake line hose didn’t fit and i had to buy seperate ones, and the master cylinder that’s included needs differently shaped brake lines so i had to replace those as well.
