It’s been so wonderful having the Y manage the outdoor pool this year. It’s so much more organized and efficient. I also feel safer with my kids there because the lifeguards seem to be much more attentive, yet friendly at the same time. I like that there are a variety of classes to choose from and the option for childcare at times. I also appreciate the community events and what seems to be the YMCA’s commitment to our community. Overall, the staff seems very committed and the facility is very clean.
I appreciate that the equipment is always open and that I don’t have to wait to use anything. I often utilize the track in addition to the weight room and cardio room, and I like the way that’s set up. It is also nice to know that the YMCA supports local community events. Aside from the front desk staff (Sandy specifically) being rather unpleasant and not approachable, I have always enjoyed my workouts and programming available through the Y!
