Just joined the YMCA here in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. A staff person guided me to all the great things inside the gym. She was very helpful to me as an older person with a few problems with knees and back. She showed me the weight machines that I could still do. One of the few gyms in the area with a pool. I hadn't swimmed in ages. They have some great trainers. As soon as I can afford, I will pay for some initial training. I am grateful that my UHC pays the membership fee through Renew Active.

It’s been so wonderful having the Y manage the outdoor pool this year. It’s so much more organized and efficient. I also feel safer with my kids there because the lifeguards seem to be much more attentive, yet friendly at the same time. I like that there are a variety of classes to choose from and the option for childcare at times. I also appreciate the community events and what seems to be the YMCA’s commitment to our community. Overall, the staff seems very committed and the facility is very clean.
