Excellent service. Rod came in quickly and packaged well. Got a 9 ft 8 wt streamer rod and it casts great and plays fish great as well.
Chippewa river rods are worth every penny. I definitely plan to get another...or two. I have the 7 wt. Fast streamer rod and I use it for smallmouth bass fishing. This rod just feels right when you cast it. My only Gripe is the cork grip (very nice cork grip by the way) is a bit fatter than all my other rods, but just takes a few casts to get used to. Tom at Chippewa River makes high quality rods at absurdly low prices, and I am very happy with mine. Thanks Tom.
I already had a Chippewa #8 and 10# for Northern Pike and Musky and loved the action and finishing. I contacted Tom if he could make the rod with the same grip in #6 so I could fish for Longnose Gar with rope flies. Again, the rod is amazing and the casting is effortless. Thanks, Tom.

The build process was extremely short, and the product exceeded my expectations. The 12wt throws large flies with ease and is very accurate. The 2h rod makes it easy to fish all day.
