I went for acupuncture for a Degenerative back disorder , to a well known Dr in the City who prescribed Chinese medicines from his practise . I would highly recommend everyone to be very cautious about taking anything not approved by Health Canada or check with your dr . . I now have stage three kidney disease and was given kidney pills for many years. . Many companies now are getting sued that had a very carcinogenic ingredient in certain products coming out if China. The whole experience and atmosphere is surreal - it's very no-frills (seriously, do not go in expecting anything like a modern clinic), but OMG this doctor is the real deal. He made it so my degenerative discs no longer caused me pain in just five sessions, has vanished migraines mid-attack and is fabulous for unlocking muscles that are in total spasm.
