I was urgently seeking acupuncture treatment and chose this clinic based on their published hours, which clearly stated on Google that they were open until 5:00 PM on Saturday. I called the office well before the closing time, but my attempt to receive care was immediately shut down. I had my first acupuncture session with Dr. Li last Thursday and was genuinely excited because I’ve been in pain for so long and nothing else has helped. I mentioned that I’ve been using a TENS unit for pain relief, which has left some mild marks—not burns. When she saw them, she said, “You should stop doing that,” in a way that felt very judgmental. had a very disappointing experience. My appointment felt like a complete waste of time and money. After arriving on time, I sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Once seen, I was given no real medical advice beyond being told to “eat bananas for cramps,” while most of the conversation was unrelated chatter about personal topics like boyfriends and fishing. Dr. Li is fantastic. I came to her with shoulder and neck pain for three weeks which was not improving. Within one session I had some relief and was able to sleep comfortably. She had me come back the next day and its continuing to get better and better by the hour. She really knows exactly where and how to address the problem even if you cant exactly articulate it!
