In addition to my previous review, I just want to mention how excellent Ms. Paige is. She is highly knowledgeable in what she does. For example, she is great at teaching my son how to use his AAC device. She has many strategies and puts in the effort to customize my son’s AAC device. She is also very warm and sweet, which is perfect for kids who have difficulty paying attention. Her inviting personality encourages children to play and open up with her. Child’s Play therapy has been a game changer for our 9yo daughter. We were referred because she has sensory processing disorder along with Down Syndrome. For several years I felt like I was throwing darts at a dartboard trying to figure out how to support her and lessen the “behavior” notices we were getting from school for hitting, pinching and hair pulling. I'm going to start by saying the whole team is phenomenal. My child has been a client for almost 2 years now. I would say the vast majority of the progress my son has made is directly related to the service. He receives speech therapy as well as occupational therapy. I just absolutely love and appreciate every single person on the team whether it’s speech or occupational therapy they're all amazing. I give a standing ovation to the hiring personnel. Dr. Gina is amazing I dont recall the name who else was in room. Both were so helpful, warming, welcoming, informative.. Nice environment. I could go on and on. Ive done a lot of research on Child play therapy and this is the best one in the eastbay. I highly recommend as I've referred others. Their making a difference one child at a time.
