My daughter was diagnosed with ALL at 2.5 years old. The financial struggles of pediatric cancer can be utterly overwhelming. I am grateful beyond measure for the assistance Children's Leukemia Research Association has provided. The ability to set aside that stress and focus on my child was critical.
Being diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma right after a total knee replacement back in 2017 was devastating for myself and my husband. When I stared to look for financial aid to offset the mounting bills, this organization was the first to respond! Thank you to everyone who donates and works to make life a better place for patients that are adults like myself and are now reduced to one income!!! Words cant truly describe how grateful we are.
As a leukemia and stem cell transplant patient, CLRA gave me a very generous grant to help defray my health insurance deductible. They were down to earth, easy to work with (kudos to Tara), easy to reach on the phone, and clearly care. It's also important to note that they do not only serve children but ADULT leukemia patients/survivors, too.
