For those of you who "boo hoo" about the conditions of this facility, you forget this is a PRISON. It's not supposed to be The Hilton or The Ritz Carlton. The inmates that are there, are there for a reason - it's called punishment for the crime they committed. They should have thought about the punishment before they committed the crime. Personally, the inmate I'm talking about probably has it too good. He murdered my husband for no reason ... he decided to be judge, jury and executioner. Family members say the keep there money. They charge them for laundry, and van ride that they ARE not receiving. It won't be long before an investigation is done if these allegations are true.
My husband is at CCWR and all of the officers I have had any contact with were very respectful talkative and friendly. They also treat my dad kind he is unable to walk and they bring the paper work out to him so that in itself has gotten my respect. Even if I have had to call to check on my husband the Sgt would let me know all was ok and also relay the 411 to my husband that I called. Not all people are the same. If you are respectful I will give you my upmost respect.
I work there. It is a prison. Not a place I would recommend someone to visit.
