Our group is looking for a place to stay on the river this Spring and I wanted to mention to others about our visit with the new owners last year. When contacting the people from Chico's last year we were looking for honest info, good or bad as our group was driving from many hours away. What we received for information was far from just an embellishment, we talked to many locals while there who were very friendly and honest and told us what was really going on from the conditions and the bite. Very impressed with the place. The new owners really changed things. They cleaned everything up and made things more nice all around. Especially the cabins. They are so much better smelling and looking now. Definitely recommend to everyone to stop by Chicos
The rude owner should stop offering unwanted lessons on how the people should launch their boats or how to put the boats back on the trailer. He should spend some time in building some new restrooms….. they just disgusting
