I am a loyal Chico’s customer. I have been shopping at Chic’s for years. Today I went to the Destin Chico’s. I had a very unpleasant experience. We were not acknowledged at all as I am accustomed to at Chico’s. I had to ask for a dressing room, after choosing my items I could not check out. I had a gift card and she had issues using it. My friend wanted to shop; knew she’d be in the store for a bit. There were three of us. No other customers; about 5:00 pm. Two of us just browsing. The two sales clerks followed us so closely, like we were shoplifters, one friend just sat down. I refused, I was all over that store, picking up items, looking at jewelry; each time a clerk was right after me.
