Great resource for local trails! I utilize it often.
Much work has gone into providing this information however using it was a tool is not useful when it comes to the rating of hikes. I understand there is a self made formula made by one person that was used for rating hikes into categories of easy, moderate and challenging but it is hardly accurate. Who would ever rate Brokeoff Mountain easy- truly that’s insane and simply misleading. What is useful is the Avenza maps. Best to use the Avenza maps and NOT THE RARING to determine the difficulty of the hike.
