CVLS refuses to help you with immigration cases if you are poor, on public aid, disabled, and, especially if your wife happens to be African - at least that was my experience - just made up excuses and no real reasons given. Very sad and disappointed...
If you get assigned a GAL out of this place named Attorney Roberts, PRAY FOR YOUR SOUL. He is AWFUL. He refused to speak to my children as instructed by the court for months, he finally talked to them 2 days before trial. He is a nasty man and a LIAR. I sent my witness list for trial to the judge, the guardian and him. Both the judge and the guardian received it but he magically didnt. It was sent in one email with the other two CCd. Just be careful with him.
