Adam did a fine job assessing my walking gate, stance, measuring my feet and recommending shoes with proper arch support. He asked me if I had a preference for shoe brand and fit me with that brand athletic shoe to meet my walking needs. Just spent a fun afternoon with three friends shopping for shoes. chiapetta’s offers a huge selection to choose from. Lola was our salesperson. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. The was no pressure to buy anything, however collectively we wound up buying 9 pairs of shoes! Chiappetta’s is our new “go to” shop for our shoes even though we live in the Chicago suburbs. Came here to get my work shoes a facelift with a recoloring. The guy with the big hair and leather apron took my shoes and looked disgusted at them. I felt embarrassed and thought maybe they are too old to renew so I told him I really liked them and I wanted to get another half year out of them. He went to the back and put new color on them and they looked so good. We walked to the register and he told me the price.
