Beware of this place! It has a no return policy! Not even a couple of days after purchase and still in their packaging. We intended to go to an Indian wedding and then had a medical emergency, and THAT's when they told us they never take returns. Not under any circumstances. Find another place to get your clothing!
Poor follow-through I went to Shelley for my wedding lehenga. Born in the States to Indian parents, Shelley's shop was exactly what I was looking for - great, fusion outfits, Indian/American owner, local. However, after we decided what to buy (2 outfits totaling about $4000) Shelley just kept hounding us for final payment (even though we'd already paid over half, and the outfits were not in yet). Great Experience... Our experience with Shelley Chhabra bridal was wonderful! Her boutique has beautiful indian clothing in any price range. I needed a heavily embelished indian bridal outfit and i had a great variety to pick from. She even has great accessories to accompany the clothing. Local is not always better Rather than going to Edison, NJ or Jackson Heights, NY to purchase Indian clothing for my wedding party, I went to Shelley's store in Cambridge, MA. We were planning a very large wedding (350+ persons), and location/convenience played a great role in all of our vendor selections. Great Place to find exactly what you need! I live in the area and decided to stop into Shelley's store after driving by. I was pretty happy I did! There is a great selection, and Shelley personally worked with me to help me figure out what the right outfit for me would be (I was going to a friend's wedding). I ended up with a gorgeous outfit, and everyone complemented me on it! Thanks for all the help guys! I would definitely suggest going in for the personal one on one service, and the quality of the clothes.
Very Nice After my second trip to Shelley's storefront, I found the business in dailycandy, I decided to purchase a fusion white and pink lenhga for my brother's wedding. It was a superb piece that I received numerous compliments on. Shelley's team, Kavita, I think was her name, provided good customer service and the order was on time. My only suggestion is Shelley also carry more home furnishings in her store..Overall I was happy with my experience and plan to go back into her store in the next few weeks.
