Nice young lady measured my load quickly and got me out of there fast. It wasn't nearly as unpleasant as I thought it would be. I was worried my load walked out to one side and I'd get a ticket. But it was all in my head.

Of course I had the most harrowing of experiences there. I had just noticed the clouds looking very ominous outside my windows. No more than three minutes later I got an Emergency Alert to seek shelter if you are driving. By then, hail was impacting my widows. I pulled into the Cheyenne I-80 P.O.E. because it was the nearest shelter. The Officers there quickly came out to tell me to join them and other travelers in the basement. They were very welcoming and friendly.
