I had a wonderful time touring the farm and being given the opportunity to see the operation at work. What Brad and Sandy are doing is truly amazing, and they're the best hosts anyone could want! It was the best experience.
Brad and Sandy Russell are two of the kindest and most informative people you’ll ever meet. They allowed a group of my friends and me to stay at their place for a weekend, and they were the best hosts you could ask for. Their property was extremely impressive, and it’s obvious that they are so passionate about their work at the chestnut farm.
This is, without an exaggeration, one of the most beautiful places in the world. If you go on the tour of Chestnuts of the Ozarks you’re in for a treat. Seriously this is a stunning farm with amazing chestnuts!
Lived on old cricket and I drove down ward lane and I was wondering what the trees at that time was about two years ago looks great.
We purchased a few pounds of chestnuts and loved them! Up until then, our only experience was the song you hear during Christmas. Brad was very informative and educated us on the versatility of this ancient nut. The sustainability factor is really exciting when you think of all the inputs that go into annual crops like wheat. We were also unaware that chestnuts were gluten free and are extremely nutritious. Thank you for the experience!
