I would go with this place if you don’t want anyone to check on your family member plus the manager of the place gives special treatment to her mother who lives there if you care about your family stay clear
We moved Mom in recently and the staff was very friendly and inviting. Her transition has gone smoothly and she has made friends already. The staff is caring and are quick to respond to the residents needs. They have a lot of activities for the residents and they seem to enjoy them. I was worried about moving Mom into an assisted living facility but after being here a couple of weeks I feel very comfortable with Mom living here!
This is the first time I’ve ever written a review and really felt the need to let others know - we LOVE all of the staff at the Courtyard. They’ve become like a family to us, and it really feels like home. Everyone is professional, kind and caring. My grandmother sadly was not there long before being placed on hospice, and throughout the entire process the staff and directors have been so accommodating, have done extra checks on her, and have also checked in on us as her caregivers. I had the opportunity to visit with 2 friends who reside at The Courtyard. First impression when approaching the entrance is excellent. Well maintained exterior, very clean, and a nice looking structure. Once inside and greeted by the very kind director I first noticed the gathering of a few residents in the open living area.
