If only I could give 0 stars. Let me quote directly from an email "Unfortunately, not receiving a bill is not a reason the state would allow us to waive any fees." So $600 in fees because I didn't receive the bills. They acknowledged that but just don't care. An internal error on THEIR part and it costs ME.

The counties in virginia loves to steal from hard working, car owning, individuals and call it a tax. Its one thing to tax homes, but to tax vehicles that have already been taxed through car sales and registration? Washington would be rolling in his grave for the amount of taxes we are paying during an ownership of the vehicle. County government still relies on the faulty and incompetent USPS to deliver their bills and statements, and will never accept fault for these outdated and broken practices. Meanwhile the people have to pay the penalty with no viable recourse. Just like this "review" is only symbolic for my distaste.
