This is now called Blue Poppy House. Where to start. Front door wouldn't open on arrival, lock broken, had to take everything around to the back of the house over wet grass No welcome pack explaining how to operate oven, coffe maker,washing machine etc Broken light in one of the bedrooms fitting smashed No towels in downstairs toilets so you had to walk around with wet hands No hand soap in toilets if you wanted to wash your hands No toilet brush in one of the bathrooms so you had to take one around the house with you No vac... read more
The size and location of the cottage sells itself, but there was a lot not to like as listed below... Poor COVID cancellation policy. Had to pay extra to delay holiday due to COVID restrictions making original dates illegal to travel. Lots of automated 'no response' communications making demands to leave property by 9am on departure day due to extra COVID cleaning. Also stating how games etc have been removed due to COVID. A little dated poor furniture in living room a few things missing in kitchen needs a good clean not 5star.
Amazing cottage, large house and garden. Not as well equipped as I expected, eg no milk jug or sharp knives and a few things not working! However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic place to stay with all the family... Grandparents included!!
