They are really helpful. If you need something They will help you out.
I agree with Adam and R O, always dread going to these type of places, but the tax office, and dmv are very easy to work with, very helpful even if you don't have all the paperwork
Typically speaking, the government is pretty horrible at doing anything, but this office was a pleasant outlier to that. The people were nice, helpful, and good at their jobs. Props to the management and culture there.
Today is March 1st, 2024. I needed to get my registration renewed and the office was closed.
If you're leaving work early, do it in the middle of the day because they frequently close their doors before they close at 4:30. They will lie and say they don't but then they will turn around and say well if we do, it's only a few minutes early. I have had it happen 5 minutes early, 13 minutes early, and 22 minutes early. I'd love to think that it's just that their watches are wrong, but it seems to be tied to how many people are there and then wanting to close the door at 4:30.
