TCF Bank has been great for the last 10yrs for me, I wish they would continue to keep the name. The new name will be Huntington by the end of this year, they probably won't have the type of service that TCF had, I my choose to find another bank.
Since at least June 9, 2021 TCF Bank (formerly Chemical Bank and now a part of Huntington Bank) has been aware of an error regarding a $310.88 check made payable to myself by Macomb County. The error is significant. It involves the fact that I did not sign or present the check to any bank for cashing. TCF is aware that this is a correct statement of fact because it has an image of the front and back of the check.
