I had to drive to Charleston, SC to pick up a boat I had purchased and needed an ST 225/78 15 spare tire for the boat trailer. I searched all over St. Marys and could not find the size tire I needed. A tire dealer told me he could get me one with a painted wheel overnight at \$249 + \$40 expedited delivery. Chelsea had a new spare on a galvanized wheel at \$189. I noticed their Yamaha 4 stroke outboard oil was \$3 a quart less than West Marine. I m buying my boating supplies from Chelsea from now on.
The Absolute WORST MECHANIC and even worse customer service.I brought my boat in after being dead in the water with an electrical problem. Asked them to fix and go through all to get the boat right. I waited 2 weeks for them to even look at the boat. When I dropped it off, they let me know later today or tomorrow.Ater "supposedly fixing" my electrical problem, my boat was returned 2 1/2 weeks later.I put in the water, and died later that day and was Sea Towed in. Horrible service and follow-up.I am 66 yrs old and have been in boating all my life. This is the worst experience I have ever had with Jack Coker.Put worthless bottom paint on my Hatteras 39 which failed...became foiled in 6 weeks. And he has done nothing about it...not even an apology.Stay away
This is the worst service I've ever experienced. They have had my boat off and on for 3 months trying to fix the same problem with my Yamaha motor. This problem did not start until I took it in for a routine service (working fine before). They have had it now for the 3rd time for over a week and haven't even looked at it yet. Stay away from this place at all costs.
