The Chef’s Haven has been in Hockessin a long time. But a year ago, Alex and Gala bought the business and expanded the offerings, including their Ukranian traditions. We love the French breakfast bread, croissants, scones and tea biscuits. All of the soups are great, too. They have added coffee and inside seating after a complete interior renovation.
Hidden gem, delish treats, super friendly staff, clean and well organized.
Amazing espresso based coffees like lattés, cappuccinos, etc. In combination with the fresh made croissants or pain au chocolat or is a reason to come in and have a seat and relax. I do it a lot and bring a book or my laptop. I’m a wine and cheese guy (not snobby, I promise) and they have the real thing in cheeses. Disclaimer: I have no personal connection. I just like to tell people about where to find some of the real pleasures in life.
