Very Good Trash Service at an Affordable Price This is a very reliable company at a very affordable price! I am very happy with the service we receive from Robertson Sanitation. The only problem I have ever had is that sometimes they leave the trash can in the middle of the driveway and we have to stop in the road and to move it out of the way. This is not a big deal at all considering the overall great job they do.
CRAZY DRIVERS drivein REVERSEin subdivision!! I have had to call them several times about driving in REVERSE (and very fast at that!) on the main street in my subdivision...SO SCARY!! and they always come around same time as my child's schoolbus, so I was very worried!! They finally stopped driving down my street in reverse after SEVERAL calls! I dont even know why they did that...the street wraps around in a big circle so it wasnt like they would have had to turn around or anything! GEEZ!! *Edit...I just saw another person'... read more
DO NOT USE,BUYER BEWAERE I had a good experience with this co. for many years... until I moved and cancled my service. They did not pick up the trash can for 6months after numerous calls to their office. They have had the nerve to bill me for it, and again numerous call to the office, Finally they stated they were sorry and told me my balance was ZERO...yaaaa, not, they sent a bill to a collection agency and now I'm fighting with them. Buyer BEWARE... I would never tell anyone to use this company!!!!
$70 fee due to autism *Update* After calling the winder office and explaining in great detail what was going on, they waived the $50 pick up fee. I had to pay $20 return fee and a month in advance. I'm happy with the results. I understand it costs them to pick up and bring back my can (though they don't make any kind of special trip as I see that truck in my neighborhood every week), I just felt that $70 was an outrageous amount. Poor Customer Service I recently called for yard waste pickup, and was told that there was a $20 balance on my account, and that if it was not paid my service would be discontinued. They were not sure if I was ever mailed a bill for the $20. I did receive the bill and sent in my payment, but somehow it was not applied to my account..the girl put me on hold for 25 minutes, and argued with me the entire time without ever listening to what I had to say.
Do not use Robertson Sanitation I have had Robertson for four months now. They keep changing my yard trimming pick up dates and do not always pick up my trash. Yesterday, they told me they're running late. They never came until the following day (today), and then they left 10 BAGS!! When I asked why, they told me black plastic bags are not allowed if they do not fit in THEIR trash bin or are not purchased (for $27) from them directly. They are awful!
Above and Beyond We've had Robertson Sanitation for about 4 years now, and never had any problems. As for the above and beyond - my 6 year old son fell in our driveway after getting off the bus. While I was making my way up the driveway, the Robertson Sanitation truck that was behind the bus stopped, the driver got out, and he helped my son up off the ground, and picked up the things that had fallen out of his bag. I was astonished. It's nice to see that some people have this kind of character and integrity. Thank You.
AVOID Troje's.... Troje's uses unethical business practices to sell you a service and then doubles your bill. (Check their BBB rating of 'F'....BBB dropped them.) After the first year they increase their fees, and pile on charges.... $45 'recycling surcharge" and Gas Surcharges are regular fees. Your initial fair deal quickly becomes the most expensive trash service in town. Plus, their recycling pickup is unreliable and spotty at best. We are missed by pickup on a regular basis. Bait and switch tactics with lousy service...... read more
