Maria is THAT girl!!! I've been coming to cheeks since I started my membership 6 months ago and the difference in my skin has been incredible. I've tried the majority of the facials here as a member and have always stuck to the "Undecided" because I've always trusted Maria to work her magic each appointment. Extractions with her are super gentle and I've never left with my skin scarred or irritated. UPDATE: They refunded me for the brows and were very kind / helpful about this experience. Just make sure that when you go in that you really detail what you want with your brows. They were nice but didn’t really listen to my desire about eyebrow shaping… I said to just clean up the bottom and she ended up cleaning the top too and now it’s too thin… which I specifically said I did not want.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for my facialist, Maria, who was excellent and very kind! Cheeks + Co, Pasadena is a super cute facial and waxing studio. It’s clean, chic, and has a nicely curated set of products available for purchase. The studio smells really nice and is in a wonderful location. My main complaint is that the walls of each of the treatment cubicles do not reach the ceilings and the noise disrupted the experience. The estheticians are amazing, and I have no negative feedback regarding their work. However, my wife and I both had memberships, and we were disappointed to learn that sessions expire. While I understand this is a policy matter, the lack of follow-up emails reminding us about expiring sessions negatively impacts the customer experience. We have lost two or more sessions, which represents a significant amount of money, simply because there are no reminders. It would be helpful to receive notifications to avoid this issue.
