I know it's no longer a norm. But, I'm the type, that prefers to do things in person. It gives me, a great deal of anxiety, for many reasons, to do things via the phone. Literally to the point, of missing out on things. Stuff like, deals/sales, opportunities, assistance/support with problems/concerns. I try my best to pivot. Insufficient information provided for a customer to cash a check. They claim all a customer needs to cash a check is proper identification. They never mention that they (the check cashing facility) needs to call the company who issued the check. so imagine this... You're in Colorado. The check cashing place closes at 5 o'clock. You arrive at 4:30 pm, have all the proper documentation and the company that issued the check is from North Carolina a 2 hour time zone difference.
