Checkers- Best Prices in Town While we can't find every exact item that we have on our list, the prices here can't be beaten by any of the other grocery stores in town. We save anywhere from $20-25 per week by shopping here. Thurs is $ .19 per lb. bananas day!
Great Prices You won't find store brand items here, but everything has lower prices. It is a ware-house setting without having to sign up for a card or buy in bulk. They also have a great selection of ethic foods. Checkers is one of my favorite grocery stores.
Checker's - Discount Grocery Discount grocery store. Carries name brand products at significantly lower prices. Setting is similar to that of a wholesale club in that there are no decorations, just concrete everywhere you turn. They have an excellent inventory turnover and bring latest brands. Bakery is excellent; the bread and pastries are baked daily and are very reasonably priced.
