I was going to cash a check there today because it was more convenient than going to the bank in Santa Fe. The lady who opened the office (late) today wanted me to write my ssn on a sticky note, I did then saw other people's socials written down on sticky notes on the counter. They just leave that info out for others to see?! Not okay. I got my social back and left.
They charge you a yearly membership fee so if Walmart fails next door this is the second best option to cash a check without a bank account.
Took some time but the friendly lady behind the window made sure it was taken care of
Worst customer ssrvice EVER. Sat waiting ro be helped for 45 minutes. 1 employee in the building. She chewed gum like a cow the entire time popping bubbles. And then she was rude. I could've driven to my bank in Santa Fe by the time I was finally helped.
