I was mislead on the department of workforce service site for discounted UTA bus passes using the cash value on my Horizon card. I clicked on the link to find out where I can can get a discount on my UTA bus pass and was lead to a list of places with Check City being on the top. I called Check City and was told they only take cash. They do not take the cash value on your Horizon card and do not give you the discount. I feel this is false advertisement and Check City needs to be aware of this.
Trust – I have used Check City for years and I love it. It is a business you can trust.
Check City was quick and convenient, open later than I thought and the fees were much lower than I thought they would be. Sad it took being in a "bind" to go in and find out the facts. "banking" after 6pm, who would have thought
